Day 4 Updates

Okay, here we are in Merida! What an eventful day we have experienced.
Breaking bones is not good for schedules! Brad knows the inside of the hospital
in Maracaibo. We took a bus ride overnight to Merida that lasted for about eight
hours. Last night we were able to connect with students at a meeting at
pastor Ramon's house. I preached for awhile and the guys shared, and I am preaching again this morning.
We will be going to San Cristobal later today. We are really looking forward to a fruitful trip (and a four hour
bus ride, too! God is great. Keep praying for us. In Christ's love, Gordon

Thanks for doing this, Josh, Brad, and Gordon. And thanks to your families, too -- we know they're making some sacrifices while you guys are gone. Brad, we're keeping your wrist and your outlook in our prayers. We agree with Erin that God'll be getting some glory out of this, even though we might not see how right now. Josh, we're remembering that because of recent pneumonia, you're needing to get plenty of sleep. Also, there's some pressure in being the main spanish-speaker for these guys, I imagine. We're praying. Finally, thanks for the teamwork in getting that almost real-time video to us at church on Sunday. Gratefully, Tomas

Gordo! Good job in connecting w/Ramon and his church. And great encouragement for our church to see the video of you interviewing Lisa (got to hear those awesome birds at the Posada too - great memories!) The entire congregation broke into groups of 4-6 people and prayed for you guys during our service. Gracias Jesus Cristo.
