2010 Sermon Series

All Things Possible!: This new sermon series is based on the Old Testament book of Nehemiah. When Nehemiah learned the wall around Jersualem was in shambles, he was heartbroken. The task of rebuilding the wall must have seemed impossible. Without the wall, the people of Jersualem would be in constant danger. At great personal risk, Nehemiah courageously leads the people to rebuild the wall in a mere 52 days! During this series, you will learn how Nehemiah handled conflict, opposition, discouragement, setbacks and financial pressure.
(10/17/2010 - 12/12/2010)

5 (Five): Our new sermon series in September is simply called “FIVE.” We will be looking at five habits which will revolutionize your life when implemented on a daily basis. Many followers of Christ never learn the basic spiritual skills which imitate the life Jesus lived on earth.
(9/12/2010 - 10/10/2010)

Samson Syndrome: Strong people fail. Strong, talented, gifted, and godly people should be the pillars of our homes and communities. All too often they are not. The pages of history are littered with gut-wrenching stories of people who looked as if they were destined to succeed but embarassed themselves with spiritual failure. No other example in the Bible better represents this phenomena than Samson. He was blessed by God from brith with extraordinary strength and the presence of the Spirit. Samson was God's appointed hero to lead the people. Samson's life reads like a modern day action adventure movie. Yet Samson was plagued by lust, addictions, marriage problems, and integrity issues. As we study the life of Samson, you will learn from his mistakes and gain from his successes. The Samson Syndrome is a new sermon series which will help you become a godly person in an age of spiritual failure.
(6/13/2010 - 8/22/2010)

Things to Come: Earth shattering news continues to confront us. Economic meltdowns, earthquakes, and political upheavals have caused many to forecast the end of the world. Some are picking dates for the end of the world and others are ignoring the warning signs. In this new sermon series, Things to Come, pastor Steve will give us a clear understanding of Biblical prophecy.
(Study of Bible prophecy; 4/11/2010 - 5/23/2010)

Losing My Religion: Religion has become the great counterfeit to a real and meaningful relationship with God, where the ritual of religion can replace the richness of life with Jesus. If you feel like you’re just going through the motions, maybe it’s time to lose your religion and get back to the basics. By looking at who Jesus is and why he came, we see how to live and what our life’s responsibilities should be.
(Study of the book of Hebrews; 1/3/2010 - 3/28/2010)

The Beautiful Collision: When Jesus went to the cross a great collision occurred. Life collided with death. Guilt collided with forgiveness. Grace collided with sin.
