Steve Hill
Steve grew up on a wheat farm in western Kansas. After graduating from Kansas State University, he attended Dallas Seminary. Steve & Mary met in Dallas and moved to Washington state for 9 years where Steve was an associate pastor. Steve has been the Sr. Pastor at GCF since 2000.
Family:
Wife Mary; sons Jake (LCC student) and Andy (LCC student)
Interests:
Coaching 8th grade basketball, bird hunting, antique radios, skiing
Day Job:
Sr. Pastor at Grace Community Fellowship
Responsibilities:
Preaching, teaching, and general oversight

Name:
Gordon Ruddick
Gordon grew up in Portland where he graduated from Multnomah Bible College and Western Baptist Seminary (MDiv). He spent five years in church ministry and 28 years in retail management with Fred Meyer. He and his family began attending Grace in August of 1980. He has been an elder for a total of about 24 years. Recently he became a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC).
Family:
Wife Patty; grown children: daughter Erin Creager, husband Brad; son Josh and wife Gretchen; daughter Amy Green, husband Jon Green (grandchildren: Audrey, Lydia and Dylan Creager; Ronan and Griffin Ruddick; Ethan, Macey, and Emma Green)
Interests:
Music, musclecars, civil war history, puns, people.
Day Job:
Certified Chaplain with PeaceHealth at Riverbend and Cottage Grove Community Hospitals
Responsibilities:
Elder, some mentoring, occasional preaching, involved with new morning service in the Annex

Jason Schar
Jason has been attending GCF since the very first Sunday in 1980. He has been the chairman of the elder council since 2000. Jason is a graduate of the University of Oregon where he was a 3-year letterman in wrestling. Jason has been a general contractor since 1975.
Family:
Wife Ann; daughter Jincy Roberson, husband Robbie, granddaughters Ellie and Josie; son Andrew Schar and wife Lori, granddaughters Ramsey, Hadley, and grandson Bodie.
Interests:
Family, working around the house, horses, hunting, fishing, Oregon FB & BB
Day Job:
Operate a construction company

Dave Scharen
Dave grew up in Crow, Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon. He was employed several years with the city of Eugene, before taking over the family farm business in Crow. Dave has been attending GCF since 1985 and has served as an elder since 1989.
Family:
Dave and Marilyn have been married since 1974 and have two children. Their daughter Amy is married and lives in Colorado and has 2 children. Their son Mark is a self-employed film editor and lives in New Mexico.
Interests:
Trailer camping, reading, farming

Elder, some mentoring, church informational center, some mentoring, and teaching

“Conversions, life changes, learning more about God and His Son.”
Name:
Rodger Terrall
Rodger has been attending GCF for 20 years and has been elder for 15 years. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and holds an MBA.
Family:
Wife Lisa; kids Kelly, Rachel (granddaughter Avalon), and Chelsea
Interests:
B'ball; R'ball; gardening; Bible study; games; travel; singing; golf; trash talking (after Elijah kind of); spending time with my family and dogs
Day Job:
Senior Vice President at Umpqua Bank
Responsibilities:
Elder- primarily finance, but also teaching, singing, helping out where I can.
Passion:
“Young Marrieds; helping people, and myself, to know Jesus in a real way; seeing people stretch themselves to reach new heights by trusting God more; encouraging others.”

Ted Williams
Ted originally grew up in Chicago (big Cubs fan) before moving to Eugene as a teenager. Ted is a former Marine and attended the University of Oregon. The Williams have been attending GCF for 6 years and Ted became an elder in 2010.

Interests:
High school soccer coach and avid hunter.

Church security and safety, men’s ministry
Passion:
“I'm passionate about family time, sports, hunting, and humbly serving GCF as an elder.”
Name:
Mel Wofford
Mel has been attending GCF since the beginning in 1980. However, he was only 16 at the time. He joined the Elder council in 2009. Mel served in the army for 8 years before moving back to Eugene.

Wife Kim; daughter Michelle (OSU student)
Interests:
Cars, people, mentoring, and warm weather
Day Job:
Mel has been with the Postal Service for 13 years.
Responsibilities:
Men’s leadership development, volunteer blood drive coordinator, mentoring

Jon Green
Jon moved to the Eugene area from Federal Way, Washington at the age of 12. His father was the area director of missions for the Southern Baptist Convention. Jon graduated from Springfield High School and the University of Oregon (music theory and English). Jon started a successful band and toured the west coast. Eventually Jon started attending GCF where he met his wife Amy and he became the Associate Pastor of Performing Arts.

Wife Amy; twins Ethan and Macey age 3, and Emma age 1
Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my family. When I am not doing that, I love playing music. I love reading books about church history, Lord of the Rings, and good poetry. I like to play video games, basketball, and soccer.

I lead worship and teach about what worship means. I also am responsible for all of the other stuff involved with the corporate worship times.

Eric Fuller
Eric is originally from Southern California and we still like him! Out of high school, he was drafted by major league baseball. Instead of signing, Eric attended Masters College where he played baseball. He met his wife Jill while attending the same church. Eric has been in youth ministry for nearly 10 years.

Wife Jill; sons Micah (age 8) and Kyle (age 6)
Interests:
Hanging out with the family, reading, learning, connecting with students, anything that has to do with sports, music, or reality TV

Tracy Sims
Tracy is originally from the Seattle area. He moved to Eugene to attend Northwest Christian University where he was the starting point guard on the basketball team. He can still sink a layup! Sims graduated with a degree in math and eventually earned an MBA. For ten years, Tracy was the registrar at NCU. Tracy started attending Grace when he was a college freshman. He joined the church staff in 2006.

Patty has worked in the office for 25 years. She met her husband Gordon while at Portland Christian High School. Patty graduated from Multnomah Bible College. They moved to Eugene in 1980 where they raised their 3 children.

Charlene has worked at GCF for 12 years. In addition, she oversees the women’s ministry. She grew up in the Portland area and attended Multnomah Bible College.

Serving the church as office secretary, coordinator for Women's Ministries, helping out here and there as needed.

Kay Mustoe
I was raised on a dairy farm in Colorado and attended college at Fort Lewis College. I worked construction for 30 years and had my own drywall company
in Phoenix. I've been a member of GCF for 13 years and Nursery Coordinator for eleven of those years, and one year as the Children's Ministry Director Assistant.
Family:
Married to Pat for 38 years. Two daughters, Jody is married to Jeff and has Jesse and Hannah. Kristy is married to Thomas.
Interests:
Spending time with family and friends. Reading.
