Grace Institute: The Pauline Epistles

Grace Institute for Biblical Leadership

Survey of the New Testament:
The Pauline Epistles

Grace Institute for Biblical Leadership

Winter 2006

Class Description

In the latter half of the first century a Jewish rabbi named Paul experienced a radical conversion to Christianity. He would come to spread the gospel throughout the Roman Empire and would be regarded as, second to Jesus himself, the most influential person in the history of the church. His influence continues even today through 13 little letters he wrote which would become the bulk of our New Testament. Join us in the Grace Institute beginning January 11th for a look as we explore these letters of Paul in our class Survey of the New Testament: The Pauline Epistles.

Students will learn the background, themes, and major principles for Romans through Philemon. Special emphasis will be given to the book of Romans. Students will also learn to research a detailed background study for a book of the bible.
