We will look at one of the most challenging books of the New Testament, 1 Corinthians. In this letter, the apostle Paul deals with a number of problems and controversies found in the church located in Corinth. Their problems look much like the problems the church faces today. |

Bible Study Methods |
This ten-week class will not just reiterate the importance of studying the bible, but will show a specific process for understanding the biblical story and how we are part of this ongoing story of God’s interaction with humanity. |

Students will study the two New Testament books written by the physican and companion of the apostle Paul, Luke. These two books are a unified picture of the ministry of Jesus as seeks to save the lost in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the earth. |

Genesis |
Students will learn the background, themes, and major principles for the book of Genesis through Joshua. Class runs from January 6 through March 16. |

Relating to Your World |
Students will explore various worldviews, including modern, post-modern worldviews and major world religions and cults. The class will emphasize creating understanding with non-believers and learning to communicate Christian truth in a practical and biblical manner. Students will also learn to answer typical objections to Christian beliefs. |

Survey of the New Testament: The General Epistles & Revelation |
Students will learn the background, themes, and major principles for Hebrews through Revelation. Special emphasis will be given to Hebrews and Revelation. |

Systematic Theology |
Students will learn the principle Christian doctrines. Students will be encouraged to discuss intelligently both sides of controversial doctrinal issues, demonstrate the validity of your own beliefs using the Bible, and be able to clearly state their doctrinal stance on the primary Christian tenants. |

Survey of the New Testament: The Pauline Epistles |
Students will learn the background, themes, and major principles for Romans through Philemon. Special emphasis will be given to the book of Romans. Students will also learn to research a detailed background study for a book of the bible. |
